Simple Side Table is a functional wooden nightstand with a natural and simple aesthetic, designed by Kalon Studios. The case is made from solid, domestic ash and makes use of simple woodworking techniques like the traditional wood-on-wood drawer slides. The back panel is made from ash-faced, solid wood veneer-ply for maximum dimensional stability. The machined feet and drawer pulls are made from solid brass. Drawer boxes are made of solid wood with a backstop for full extension (drawer base is solid wood veneer-ply). Each drawer can be easily removed. Exterior wood parts are finished with zero VOC, HAPS and Formaldehyde-free hemp seed oil. These materials were thoughtfully selected to offer a piece with no toxins and no off-gassing, for the environment, the craftspeople and you.
