Estacas House is a 140 m² dwelling with a natural and simple aesthetic, located in Lisbon, Portugal, designed by Atelier RUA.

The house with herringbone flooring throughout, is characterized by a perforated brick screen in the kitchen that lets in diffuse natural light and air. In the other half of the plan, a wooden furniture element along the central axis was introduced, acting both as a separation and a link between the hallway and the bedrooms, and provides necessary functions like storage units, closets, shelving and work desk. Glass panels were used above the volumes to let light flow between spaces.
